CCTV is operated under the lawful basis of legitimate interests, in line with data protection legislation.

CCTV is used for the following purposes:

Safety and safeguarding of children and adults attending lessons

Security of customers, staff, and property

Monitoring the quality of service delivery

Supporting staff supervision and performance management

Cameras are positioned in poolside and communal areas only.

No recording takes place in private areas such as changing rooms or toilets.

CCTV may capture video footage of customers, swimmers, spectators, and staff while on the premises.

Footage is accessed only by authorised personnel and is used solely for the purposes listed above.

It may be shared with law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required.

Storage and Retention

Recordings are stored securely and retained for a limited period (typically up to 30 days), unless required for investigation or legal purposes.
